Happy Holidays from GP View

The festive period is a busy one for general practice and we at GP View wish you well for the season, and hope you find some time to relax and rejuvenate.

We are really pleased with the start we have made at GP View and as the year is coming to an end we would like to share a few reflections and ideas for the future of our portal.

We are very grateful to all of our authors so far and we hope that more bloggers join our ranks in 2017. We are also overwhelmed by the interest in our articles and fast growing support on both our website and on Twitter. It confirms our belief that there is so much to discuss as general practice faces both major challenges and a range of opportunities for development.

In the new year we have lots planned. We will be running monthly Tweetchats on something topical – if you haven’t joined one before they are fun, fast moving, and of course, free! Do keep an eye out for details.

We will also be providing information on events that are of interest to our readers, and starting up a job vacancy page. Our News and Blog Round Up page will grow, as we believe strongly in the ethos of sharing and supporting that is part and parcel of blogging communities worldwide. We will keep growing our Resources page  so that GP View is a place where readers can easily find all relevant and useful documents. Please let us know if we can add anything further that would be helpful or of interest.

The idea behind GP View was to create a place to exchange and discuss ideas, problems and solutions. We continuously strive to improve it and we invite you, our readers, to become a part of the larger conversation. If there’s anything that you would like to see on the site or a view that you would like to share, just let us know.

Once again, our very best wishes for a peaceful festive period.
